Over the past few months, we’ve already told you about some of the new features that will come with Android 15, mainly thanks to code analysis of the beta versions that have been released so far. However, we can expect the release of the new beta practically at the same time as Google I/O 2024, namely Google has kept some interesting news that it will reveal on Tuesday. With what we’ve seen so far, what we were told on Tuesday, and the upcoming beta, we can now have a fairly clear idea of ​​the future of the operating system.

The next big star of the Google I/O 2024 presentation will undoubtedly be artificial intelligence. Google already showed its muscles in this sense at last year’s event and we can expect something similar this time as well. Let’s recall that Gemini was announced at last year’s event, that it debuted in December of last year, and that just two months later they surprised us with the launch of Gemini 1.5. Will we hear Google talk about Gemini 2.0 at this event? This seems likely, and even more so since they learned that OpenAI will be holding its own event just the day before.

However, not everything will be Gemini.
