Officially BYD Shark It will be introduced today, but BYD Mexico’s official site has already published the detailed configuration of this pickup.

BYD Shark will be available in three colours: Pallas White, Marmara Black and Atlantis Grey. The length, width and height of this pickup are 5457 mm, 1971 mm and 1925 mm respectively and its wheelbase is 3260 mm. The front engine has a maximum power of 170 kW and a maximum torque of 310 N·m. The rear section is characterized by a power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 340 N·m.

BYD Shark accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, has a maximum speed of 160 km/h and a battery capacity of 29.58 kWh. It offers a range of 100 km fully electric and a range of 840 km combined with gasoline and electricity. Fuel consumption is 7.5 l/100 km.

BYD Shark is equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel display, a 12.8-inch central control screen and a 12-inch projection screen. Supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle is equipped with a panoramic vision system with a 540° angle (including the area under the vehicle).

BYD Shark is built on the DMO (Dual Mode Off-Road, super hybrid off-road platform) platform and independent front and rear suspension systems. Maximum towing capacity is 2,500 kg and cargo volume is 1,450 liters. The vehicle was actively tested while driving on sand, mud and snow.
