The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine urged Western countries to constantly supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons to counter Russian aggression. CNN, Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said that the Ukrainian defenders were well prepared to fight against the Russian invaders, but the soldiers did not have enough weapons.

He noted that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Western countries have assisted Ukraine with weapons and military equipment, but this aid should not be a one-off action.

Guns have already begun to arrive, but they are not enough to repel the Russian army very strongly. The West must understand that this is not a one-time aid. The supply of weapons must continue until victory. Our warriors are well prepared. But this motivation and training is not enough to defeat Russia without weapons,” said Malyar.

Therefore, the Deputy Minister of Defense urged Western countries to continue supplying weapons to Ukraine. In particular, according to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lacks heavy weapons and means of air defense (air defense).
