This controller is able to securely hold phones in landscape orientation, while the left side of the controller folds down so you can easily plug your phone into the USB Type-C connector included with the controller.

Once connected, the left side of the controller can be raised to adjust the telescopic aluminum bridges and lock the movement of the terminal. The included rubber pads and the aforementioned extended Type-C connector allow you to easily connect the Tessen to your phone. even if you have a protective cover.

The controller is designed to give players gaming experiences similar to those offered by portable consoles. Its 18mm high right stick offers 22 degrees of movement for precise control, while the ergonomic grips have an extended exterior design so you can enjoy games for longer.

The face buttons and D-pad sit on high-end mechanical switches, which is promising maximum response, tactile response and great durabilitywhile the two aluminum rear paddles can be programmed on the fly with the ROG button or in the Armory Crate app, where complex commands or combos can be defined for use with each game.

Armory Crate offers advanced customization options, including button remapping and Aura RGB lighting effects for customization and immersive gameplay. The ROG button on the Tessen can also be configured in the app to launch these quick one-touch commands for taking screenshots, recording gameplay, changing lighting effects, etc. Finally, gamers can game and charge their phone at the same time, thanks to 18W pass-through charging, giving gamers allows you to focus on the action of the game without having to worry about the battery level.

From what we see in the pictures, This ASUS ROG Tessen is great, with an innovative design and advanced controls for a portable console-like experience. But at a much cheaper price than them by using existing smartphones.
