iPadOS 17.5 devices get a battery status menu with charging limits, older iPads do not have this.

The recently released iPad Pro and iPad Air feature a new menu to view battery status and other battery data, MacRumors reports. In addition, the battery status manager (Optimized Battery Charging) known to MacBook users is now also possible with iPads. This ensures that your device is not fully charged to extend the life of your battery. This option would only be available for the latest iPads.
