AOC announces entry-level, fast and affordable gaming monitors

AOC Gaming Q27G4X and AOC Gaming 24G4XE They are two new gaming monitors launched by the Taiwanese manufacturer. They are sold under the brand name ‘AGON’ and are fast and economical for their characteristics.

AOC renews the overall design, chassis and also panel technology of these monitors, which are part of the G4 series. They don’t reach the level of the AGON PRO designed to offer maximum performance in competitive gaming and eSports, but they are also much cheaper and can be bought by any budget.

The selected panel is “Fast IPS” which we have been seeing a lot in the monitor segment lately. It’s interesting because it allows you to get some of the performance of TN panels and the image quality and viewing angles of traditional IPS. Because of this, and while their focus remains on games, they can also be used as a general screen.

AOC Gaming Q27G4X

AOC Gaming Q27G4X offers 27 inches diagonal and QHD resolution, while The AOC Gaming 24G4XE is 24 inches and FHD resolution. Both support FreeSync image synchronization technologies and are compatible with G-Sync. Its factory overclocked variable refresh rate goes up to 180 Hz and its response time remains at 1ms GtC.

As we said, AOC has refreshed the design of these monitors with a chassis that leaves less space on the desktop and has a more modern aesthetic. It has also reduced the screen bezels on three sides, favoring the use of multi-monitor systems if the user needs it. Its base is also new and allows for height, swivel, tilt and swivel adjustments according to the user’s preferences. You can hang it on a wall or mounting arms with a VESA mount, and it includes built-in speakers and a headphone output for a more complete setup.

AOC includes the familiar G-Menu software, which allows users to easily change the settings of their screens using the OSD, which allows you to control the main parameters or enable specific gaming functions, such as the new built-in smart vision. AOC Gaming Q27G4X can be found in the Spanish market for a price 266 euroswhile the AOC Gaming 24G4XE only stands 179 euros.
