About a month ago, Google announced that it would be closing the doors of VPN by Google One. Now the date has also been announced: VPN by Google One ends on June 20th. According to the company, the feature was underused and therefore discontinued. Google provides further information about the discontinuation and offers alternatives on its help page.
VPN by Google One will cease to exist on June 20, 2024, the company announced. Users with a Pixel 7 and newer can still use the built-in VPN service. Alternative VPN services are also available.
