Sweden will supply Ukraine with large-caliber AG 90 sniper rifles and AT4 anti-tank guns. This is stated in a statement by the Swedish Ministry of Defense. Sweden adopted a new amendment to provide financial support and equipment to Ukraine in response to the Russian invasion. The Swedish Armed Forces can do without certain defense materials for a certain period of time.

The government proposes that Sweden provide Ukraine with additional defense equipment in the form of the RBS 17 anti-ship missile system, AG 90 sniper rifles and ammunition, as well as 5,000 Swedish AT4 anti-tank grenade launchers. Sweden also plans to contribute SEK 60 million to the NATO Fund for Supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the spring of this year, Sweden donated about 48m euros to a special account of the National Bank of Ukraine to raise money to support the country’s armed forces. The government is currently offering Sweden an additional financial contribution of 55m euros. This support will help strengthen Ukraine’s ability to counter Russian aggression at a critical time.

Sweden has supported Ukrainian civil society through its actions through the Swedish Emergency Management Agency under the EU-UN Civil Protection Mechanism. The government is also proposing to add another €10 million to this support. As for weapons, Sweden had supplied 10,000 AT4 anti-tank grenade launchers at the beginning of the war.

The AT4 is a series of 84mm unguided portable jet single-charge recoilless anti-tank guns manufactured by the Swedish company Saab Bofors Dynamics. The grenade launcher can be guided by a soldier and has a range of 200 to 600 m, depending on the model of the missile, and can pierce armor up to 460 mm thick.

AG 90 – Swedish designation of the American sniper rifle Barrett M82 caliber 12.7 mm. It is a semi-automatic weapon that fires 12.7×99mm NATO cartridges from a 10-round magazine. The maximum effective range is about 1.8 km. Source
