The Division 3, everything we know about the news from Ubisoft

Ubisoft has confirmed that The Division Heartland has been cancelled, bad news giving way to good news and this is it could speed up The Division 3’s releasea delivery that will bring very important changes and that will be a true continuation of the events we saw in The Division 2.

I really liked The Division. Despite the cut that Ubisoft gave it on a graphical level to push it to PS4 and Xbox One, the game had an excellent environment, was very fun and addictive, and the concept of the Dark Zone was not only original and well thought out, but it also extended the life of the game.

I had mixed feelings about The Division 2 and the truth is that I liked it a lot less than the original. I was also very tired beforehand and felt that Ubisoft didn’t quite get it right with the staging or the new class system. however I didn’t think it was a bad gameand it gave me some unforgettable moments.

The Division 3 will be exclusive to the current generation

My expectations for The Division 3 are very high, especially at the technical level. This game will not be released on PS4 or Xbox One, meaning it will be exclusive to PS5, Xbox Series S and Series

The approach should be the same, a sandbox that will allow us to explore different scenarios and locations with some freedom. By leaving the previous generation, The Division 3 will be able to offer more complex geometrya higher level of detail, better physics and AI, more settings, more enemies on the screen at the same time, and more careful lighting and shadow effects.

I don’t know if Ubisoft will be able to implement ray tracing in The Division 3, but the truth is that I see it as unlikely based on its own concept. What should not be missing is the adoption of technology AMD FSR, NVIDIA DLSS and Intel XeSSbecause it will help us improve performance and fluency and it can be an important difference.

Chicago is the city chosen for this new installment

This is what the latest rumors suggest, which ensure that the post-apocalyptic scenario will be brought to the “Windy City”. Honestly, it feels like a success to me, and in a way it’s shaping up to be access to the original gamewhich took place in New York City, specifically in the Manhattan district.

Thanks to the jump to the current generation in The Division 3, we find un approach aimed at a more open world, which will translate into much larger scenarios that will be split into different areas controlled by different factions. Among these factions, some are already known, such as hyenas, scavengers, and rikers, and new factions will also be introduced which we will have to face.

We shouldn’t expect big changes at the playable level. The Third-person over-the-shoulder camera and cover-based action and the use of special abilities will once again be the mainstay of this piece, although it would be nice if Ubisoft took the opportunity to revise the class system that it used in The Division 2, opting for a more profiled and polished model.

Presentation and release date

AI Division 3

There has been a lot of speculation about the possible presentation in June of this year and with a launch sometime in 2025, but the truth is that these are just rumors and nothing is certain in this regard at the moment. We have to wait until June to see if Ubisoft decides to take a step and offer the first contact with The Division 3.

If this happens and if there is a development in an advanced stage and does not become complicated, Finally, the information that pointed to a launch sometime in 2025 may finally come true. I hope that Ubisoft doesn’t do the same thing as the previous two installments, that is, that they show off the first-class graphics and then label themselves significant downgrade.
