Queen Elizabeth’s hologram “passed” through central London in an over 250-year-old wagon

The Queen’s hologram appeared in a gilded chariot during a carnival procession dedicated to her 70th birthday. The hologram is a real shot from Elizabeth’s 1953 coronation with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, traveling in this car from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey.

The technology was developed by London-based Therapeutic Studio, which has also worked on shows by artists such as Adele and Sir Elton John. With the help of Buckingham Palace staff, experts placed digital displays containing holograms of the young queen on a custom-made steel frame.

The car is original: the car is 260 years old, VI in 1760. Queen The last time Elizabeth rode was 20 years ago – after the Gold State Coach decided not to use it, thinking it was old.

The fact is that the gold-plated wagon weighs about four tons, and due to its significant weight and size, it can move only at pedestrian speed. Instead, spectators of the final parade were able to take a good look at the queen’s hologram and wave back, just as the audience of the 1953 parade greeted the real Elizabeth.
