Logitech is renewing its most popular camera bar for huddle rooms after seven years. The new Logitech MeetUp 2 does almost everything better and is a little cheaper.

When Logitech launched the original MeetUp in 2017, it didn’t expect to ship more than a million units seven years later. Unlike Logitech’s Rally Bar solutions, this video bar focuses specifically on BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Plug in HDMI, USB and off you go.

The same principle applies again to Logitech MeetUp 2. You can work there either exclusively via USB-C (video + control via one port) or with an extra HDMI connection. Connect the video bar to a television, supply it with power and you can easily hold video meetings in a huddle room, for example. You don’t need a license for Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms, your laptop with Teams, Google Meet or Zoom is sufficient.

At the center is a 4K sensor, the output is in Full HD. Thanks to the spacious sensor, Logitech MeetUp 2 can track the active speaker or switch between speakers without the need for a motorized lens. This integrated approach allows you to slide an integrated lens hood over the camera. Manually yes, there is no motor control.

Logitech brings various AI functions to the video bar. RightSound 2 filters unwanted noises such as echoes and poor room acoustics. RightSight 2 focuses on the active speaker, participant group or a specific person. The latter can be combined with Intelliframe in Microsoft Teams or Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery.

Even though the video bar promotes BYOD, the IT team retains the necessary control. Using Logitech Sync, you can contact MeetUp 2 via WLAN/Ethernet and, among other things, query the status, install updates or adjust settings.

The Logitech MeetUp 2 is available now and costs 999 euros including VAT.
