All major PC manufacturers have signed up to the Copilot+ PC platform, and the Acer Swift 14 AI is another example to add to the next generation of PCs. Windows laptops with AI capabilities.

The Acer Swift 14 AI opts for Qualcomm (ARM) Snapdragon hardware, which is essential for AI tasks.

Intel processors won’t be available until the third quarter anyway, so the presentations so far have come from ARM. The Acer laptop will be able to equip a Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 10-core or Snapdragonwhich is the entry version to Qualcomm’s most advanced chips.

Basically, the only difference between the two chips is in the number of processor cores of the Oryon series. Both chips support processor speeds of up to 3.4 GHz, have an Adreno GPU for graphics performance of up to 3.8 TFLOPS, and both have the 45 TOP NPU common to all Snapdragon Xs.

As for the screen, it is a 14.5 inch IPS touch LCD diagonal, native resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with refresh rate support up to 120 Hz and 100% sRGB color gamut support. It comes in configurations with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory and up to 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

The webcam needs to be improved on Copilot+ PCs, as Microsoft mentioned in the presentation of the new Surface, and we see an interesting development. This Swift has a 1440p QHD sensor with a private shutter, three microphones and an infrared port for authentication tasks using Windows Hello facial recognition or the latest Windows Studio effects.

No less interesting is compatibility with the latest wireless standards, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, stereo speakers with DTS X Audio and a 180-degree hinge that allows you to fold the screen. It has two USB Type-C ports with support for DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB charging, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and one HDMI 1.4 port.

The Acer Swift 14 AI (model SF14-11) will be available in Spain from June for a price starting at 1,499 euros. For the international market, it will be launched in July with a base price $1,100. We reiterate that the Copilot+ PC has a high price tag. We’ll see if they react to it.
