In honor of its tenth consecutive victory at the Dakar Rally, Toyota has introduced a new special edition of the Land Cruiser 300 in the United Arab Emirates. The model was called Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition. The body of the car is white, but the radiator grille is black, there are black 18-inch wheels and a number of other elements. There are also stickers that extend all the way to the rear bumper, a sort of homage to the Land Cruiser’s motorsport heritage.
Unlike the Dakar-winning diesel Land Cruiser GR Sport, the Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition is only available with a gasoline engine. The turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 415 hp. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission and the company’s all-wheel drive system.
In the cabin, everything is specific to the Land Cruiser 300: a media system with a 9-inch screen, three-zone climate control, leather functional steering wheel, etc.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 10th Victory Edition is available exclusively in the United Arab Emirates for AED 319,900 ($87,095). The price matches that of the Black Edition configuration and is lower than the flagship Land Cruiser GR Sport, which is offered in the same market for 412,900 dirhams ($112,415). It is worth noting that Toyota won 10 consecutive victories not in the general standings, but in the category of mass-produced cars.
