OUR Apple announced that the models iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone SE the first generation will not receive iOS 16. These iPhone lines received iOS 15 but weren’t on the list to receive the new update. The information was made public today (06) during the presentation of a new operating system for smartphones on WWDC 2022. As a result, there is a need to iPhone eighth generation or higher to get iOS 16.

The new operating system will bring several improvements to Apple devices, among the main news: iMessage improvements, focus mode update, screen lock implementation, and Dictation and live text. Check out everything new in iOS 16 here.
