According to a preliminary report from the Iranian army, The investigation into the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi did not reveal until now signs of attack there is nothing suspicious, state media reported Friday.

Raisi, a hardliner seen as a possible successor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, died on Sunday after his helicopter crashed in the mountains close to the border with Azerbaijan.
