This technology will greatly aid polar research

The new e-skin has an impressive tolerance to extreme cold and works effectively at temperatures as low as minus 78 degrees Celsius. This makes it ideal for robotic polar explorers, allowing them to operate in harsh environments that would otherwise render conventional electronics useless.

Beyond cold survival, e-skin offers advanced robot agility. This gives them a sense of touch, allowing them to feel pressure and accurately recognize the shapes of objects and even some symbols.
