In 2011, a group of divers discovered a strange, almost round object with a diameter of about 60 meters at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. Later, the mass media, with the light hand of ufologists, called it “Baltic UFO”, and fans of the “Star Wars” saga called the object “Millennium Falcon” due to the similarity of its shape to the famous starship.

According to the Daily Mirror, the mystery of the strange object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea may have finally been revealed.

Stockholm University geologist Volker Bruchert, who examined some samples collected by divers, said that they were granite, gneiss and sandstone. So there is nothing mysterious about the finding. According to Bruchert, the structure at the bottom of the Baltic Sea was formed during the movement of glaciers that occurred in this part of the sea during the Ice Age, 140,000 years ago.
