As Ukrinform reports, The Verge reports.
For Apple, this is the fifth chip after the M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max and M1 Ultra.
The new processor is stated to have 20 billion transistors, which is 25% more than its original predecessor, the M1. All these transistors should improve the quality of the company’s products.

Apple promises 18% faster CPU and 35% faster graphics processor (GPU) inside the M2 compared to the M1.
The flagship chip also has an engine that supports 8K video. This means systems running on M2 chips can simultaneously play multiple video streams in 4K and 8K.
The M2 processor supports up to 24 GB of RAM, and the memory bandwidth reaches 100 GB / s, which is 50% more than the M1.
The first M2 chip will take the MacBook Air, one of Apple’s most popular laptops.
As Ukrinform reports, the American company Apple has acquired the AI Music initiative, which is developing a platform that can create songs using artificial intelligence.
