Former presidential candidate republican Nikki Haley wrote “Finish them off” over an Israeli missile in the midst of a ruthless offensive on the Gaza Strip that has killed more than 36,000 Palestinian civilians.
Danny Danon, an Israeli politician and former ambassador to the UN, was the one who shared photos of Haley crouching in front of various Israeli projectiles.
“Finish them off! The US loves Israel. Forever, Nikki Haley.” The Republican wrote about the M795 missile, a high-explosive projectile with fragmentation and explosive effects is also common in the US Armed Forces, according to various media reports, including Israeli ones.
“Conflict has rules. Civilians must be protected,” Amnesty International said in a statement regarding Haley’s behavior.
Israel’s three-week offensive in Rafah, Gaza, sparked protests from world leaders after Sunday’s airstrike kills at least 45 people when the campground caught fire.
Last week, the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to immediately cease its military attack on Rafah, issuing a landmark emergency ruling in the case. South Africa accuses Israel of genocide.
Israel denies accusations of genocide.
Kenneth Roth, former executive director of Human Rights Watch, said of Haley:
Why not just sign: “I support Israeli war crimes.”
Later on Wednesday, Haley wrote on X: “Israel must do everything it can to protect its people from evil.”
The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli bombings had killed more than 36,000 people.
Likewise, famine is widespread in the narrow coastal enclave and in almost all of its regions. 2.3 million residents were displaced. (Reuters)
