CrowdStrike and Cloudflare have expanded their strategic partnership to improve network security and accelerate SOC transformation.
The partnership combines Cloudflare One’s cloud-native zero-trust protection with CrowdStrike Falcon’s AI-powered cybersecurity. Cybercriminals are moving faster and generating more threats, forcing organizations to manage multiple security tools, resulting in complex internal networks.
An AI-based cybersecurity platform helps companies connect remote users, offices, and data centers. This platform helps integrate data, security, and IT and prevents cybercriminals from breaking into systems through workflow automation.
CrowdStrike and Cloudflare offer an integrated solution through a single API that connects Crowdstrike’s Falcon platform to Cloudflare’s infrastructure network, providing protection for networks, devices, endpoints, cloud, identity, data and applications.
BastionZero
Cloudflare also announces the acquisition of BastionZero. The acquisition will extend the Cloudflare network’s zero-trust security to servers, Kubernetes clusters, databases, and other infrastructure. This extends Cloudflare’s solution for replacing VPN with apps and networking with infrastructure resources to centralize even more parts of the hybrid IT environment.
In April, Cloudflare also announced the acquisition of BaseLime, marking the internet company’s first step into the observability market. Rita Kozlov (VP Product) explains to our editors how this fits into Cloudflare’s overall picture.
