Yesterday, Apple held its annual WWDC press conference announcing the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with single-chip Apple M2 system, alongside iOS 16, macOS Ventura and watchOS 9.
iOS 16 has sparked a heated debate as Apple believes it can again be accused of copying Xiaomi. Yes, that’s right, not the other way around, as it was years ago.
In iOS 16, Apple added Earth-themed super wallpapers to iPhone. At the same time, Xiaomi has released the super wallpaper for the planet on their smartphones in MIUI in 2020. Many users now say that this innovation is MIUI-based.
At the same time, users claim that super wallpapers are better implemented on Xiaomi smartphones. It’s about the animation itself and the quality of the content. In MIUI, during unlocking, the planet zooms in so you can see the mountains.
This isn’t the first time Apple has repeated Xiaomi. Last year, in an invitation letter to its upcoming press conference, Apple used a design similar to the one used by Xiaomi in 2018. Source
