According to Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, these weapons are needed at the front.
“We are currently signing one of the largest arms contracts in Ukraine in the last three decades. These weapons have been well tested and we know they will be important on the battlefield today,” he said.
He noted that weapons for Ukraine are partially financed by the European Union, and the total amount of the contract is about 3 billion zlotys, which is about 628 million dollars.
