Corsair was one of those Computex 2024 presences we’ve been looking forward to with great interest, because the Californian tech company never disappoints at the Taipei trade show. In this regard, I especially remember the introduction of the Corsair Voyager a1600 in the 2022 edition, a laptop that surprised everyone and everyone with its combination of very powerful components and a very attractive design, in a device designed specifically for gamers and content creators, two key markets for the brand.

With these precedents, and as I said at the beginning, one would expect a good list of new developments, and having already seen their announcements, no doubt we can be satisfied. It is true, yes, that one of the products that has been the most interested is the ONE i500 variant that was announced a few weeks ago, but apart from that, we find not only quantity, but also quality and variety. in what Corsair showed us today and will hit the market later this year.

So, without further delay, let’s start with an overview of all the news, the information that was provided about them.

XENEON 34WQHD240-C

The first thing that caught our eye is this monitor, a 34-inch curved screen built with a QD-OLED panel, a technology that offers the contrast of OLED panels, which typically offer exceptionally wide coverage of the most common color spaces, and the brightness of QLED screens, which can exceed 1,000 nits, providing an overall high-quality image. Thanks to this technology, this screen has an infinite contrast ratio and offers DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 with VESA certification.

Its performance is added to the quality of the image, which is summarized in two key figures. On the one hand, its refresh rate, which can scale up to 240 hertz, and something that gamers will especially appreciate, the GtG (gray to gray) response time 0.03 millisecondsthis means that we are talking about practically non-existent latency.

Corsair ONE i500 Metal Dark

As I mentioned at the beginning, another highlight at Computex 2024 was Corsair One i500A PC that is small only in size, because its configuration can eventually be satisfied Intel Core i9-14900K and a dedicated graphics card GeForce RTX 4090accompanied up to 192 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and 24 terabytes of SSD storage. As we already told you, it is sold with two natural wood fronts (Wood Dark and Wood Bright) and today the company announced that a new variant with a metal front (that’s the one you can see in this paragraph) called Metal Dark will be coming soon .

3500X chassis

The days when PC chassis were… let’s say ‘boring’, with beige as the go-to color, are thankfully long gone. First came the most attractive designs and other colors, and then both RGB LED lighting and transparent sides began to proliferate, offering a view into the inside of a PC that some of us years ago enjoyed with a much less convenient option: with a permanent PC opening.

The Corsair 3500X chassis goes one step further in this sense because, as you can see in the picture, extends the visibility of the inside of the PC to its front, move the elements that are normally in it to the top, near the part where it meets the front. In addition, compatibility with ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero motherboards allows for mounting in which cables and connections are hidden, which has a positive impact on both the ventilation flow and the aesthetic part.

In this case we find large chassis, designed to place no restrictions on the selection of components and organize their distribution based on our preferences for multiple criteria. In this sense, thanks to the InfiniRail system, it is also possible to adjust the location of the fan by moving it along the rail system to direct the air flow and adapt to the layout of the components. Cooling solutions

One of Corsair’s strengths is its cooling solutionsboth air and liquid based. Therefore, the company has chosen the Taipei fair to make several announcements in this regard, which we summarize below:

• iCUE LINK TITAN: More than a substantial improvement comes to Corsair’s AiO cooling system design with this innovation, which combines high-performance iCUE LINK fans, a split-flow copper cooling plate and a new FlowDrive cooling engine, based on a three-phase motor combined with a cold plate surface profile. A solution that, of course, also includes RGB LED lighting.
• LX RGB: I personally admit that I love this design, and we find high-performance fans that generate a double-loop pattern due to the layout of their LEDs.
• RX MAX: we are talking about a 30mm fan here, which offers improved airflow and very quiet operation thanks to the bearing system used.
• RS series PWM fans– For users who want maximum control over the operation of their fans, the PWM RS series offers advanced software control and complete control using 4-pin chain PWM and +5V ARGB.
• CAPSWAP: in this case, we are not talking about a new cooling component, but rather a novelty that allows us to customize Corsair coolers thanks to the new design of the replaceable pump cover with several designs that allow us to choose the one that suits us best. needs.

SFATX 3.1

The small form factors (SFF) are very present in this edition of Computex. We saw a clear example of this already on Sunday, when NVIDIA announced the specification it defined for SSF graphics cards and cases, and today we see another example with this line of power supplies, designed specifically for this type of PC.

In this case, we are talking about modular sources compatible with the specification ATX 3.1certified as 80 PLUS Platinumwith versions 750, 850 and 1000 watts. It uses Type 5 Micro-Fit connectors to make it easier to use, which translates into a smaller size, which is key when we’re talking small.

Corsair’s own lab

This novelty is currently only available in the United States and will please users who want to customize all elements of their system according to their own visual taste. As you may have already deduced from the image above, we find a tool that allows us to customize the design of various peripherals and accessories of the brand, based on different colors and patterns which we find in each of the steps of the personalized design phase.
