Realme confirmed that it is working on 300W fast charging technology; This may be the fastest technology on the market. In a recent interview, Realme Global marketing manager Francis Wong revealed that the company is currently testing a 300-watt charger.

Realme has been releasing smartphones with the fastest chargers at launch for several years now. For example, in 2021, the Realme GT Master Edition model was launched with a 65W charger that allows the 4300mAh battery to be fully charged in 33 minutes. 2022 saw the arrival of Realme GT Neo 3 with a 150W charger that can fully charge the 4500mAh battery up to 50% in just 5 minutes. And finally, the flagship 2023 Realme GT Neo 5 supports 240W charging, fully charging in less than 10 minutes.

The Redmi brand had previously introduced charging technology for smartphones with a capacity of 300 W. With its help, the phone was charged to 50% in less than three minutes and fully charged in just five minutes. The demonstration took place last year, but since then nothing has been reported regarding mass production of such devices. Oppo also announced plans to launch a 300-watt charger that can fully charge a smartphone in 5 minutes, but such models have not entered the market either.

There are almost no details about Realme’s 300-watt solution yet. In his interview, Wong did not share information about when this technology would be applied to commercial smartphones.
