The agent was hacked by the Security Service’s cyber department. The criminal was inspected by the special services of the aggressor state.
In online media, Kyiv had to justify Russia’s aggression.
Kiev was tasked with creating online media that would justify Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and glorify the invaders. In addition, these web resources deliberately spread false information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine, discrediting our defenders.
These media with the ideas of “Russian measure” were quite popular: their audience reached 2.2 million unique users every month.
Russian agent detained
SBU officers detained the Russian agent. The man was briefed on the suspicion of producing and distributing materials that justify and refute Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
Worked for the enemy during the war: high-profile cases
In the Rivne area the enemies hired a border guard. An officer from the border detachment leaked information about the National Guard to the Russian side. The man has already been informed about the suspicion of treason.
In the Chernihiv region, a criminal group arose to help the enemy in case of a second invasion. The attackers found an entire arsenal of weapons supplied by the Russians.
In early June, the SBU closed a channel from Russia to finance an enemy organization. The criminal organization included three residents of the Kyiv region. More than 13 million hryvnia, dollars and euros were seized during the searches.
The Security Service also managed to arrest an FSB agent in Ukraine. He was probably preparing a terrorist attack. The man was collecting data on objects that could be the target of Russian attacks.
As a result of a large-scale operation in Kyiv and Chernihiv, a group of drug dealers in Ukraine and transferring money to Russia were detained.
