Rocket manufacturer SpaceX and its executive president, Elon Musk, eight engineers sued on Wednesday who claim to have been wrongfully fired for raising concerns about alleged sexual harassment and discrimination against women.
The engineers – four women and four men – claim that Musk ordered his firing in 2022 after a letter circulated that called the billionaire a “distraction and embarrassment.” and called on the company’s leaders Reject sexual comments what he did on social media. Paige Holland-Thielen, one of the plaintiffs, said in a statement provided by her lawyers that The lawsuit is an attempt to hold SpaceX management accountable and encourage changes in workplace policies.
