NVIDIA continues to expand and improve the game catalog of GeForce Now, its popular cloud gaming service. This service was one of the first to hit the market, and managed to succeed where others failed. We have the best example in Google Stadia, a very ambitious and interesting project, which, however, came to the market accompanied by major errors.
Personally, I think the biggest mistake Google made with Stadia, which was largely responsible for its failure, was forcing users to re-purchase games they already owned. It was not possible to connect accounts and games we already had on platforms like Steam, Good Old Games or Epic Games Store to this service, we had to go through the checkout againand obviously no one liked it.
GeForce Now allows you to link your accounts, which means You won’t need to re-purchase the games you already have.. It also has a completely free option that allows you to try the service for free and without any obligation. If at any time you decide that you want to enjoy a high-end experience, both in terms of resolution and technologies (ray tracing and DLSS), you can upgrade your account using the available payment methods.
This week has been more discreet in terms of news, but we have a game that stands out above all, Sea of Thieves, one of the best pirated games we can enjoy today, and it’s also available on PC Game Pass, which means if you’ve subscribed to the said service, you can also play it on GeForce Now without any problems.
Below is the full list of new games coming to GeForce Now:
This week the new Night Springs DLC for Alan Wake 2, which uses full ray tracing and supports NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, the same technologies that were present in the base game. I got my hands on said DLC and I hope to share my impressions with you in a few days, although I can already tell you that it looks very good.
