AOC has announced two new 27-inch monitors in the B3 series: the U27B3A and the U27B3AF.
AOC is launching two new screens in its B3 portfolio. The U27B3A and U27B3AF are equipped with a 27-inch IPS panel with a UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels). AOC also gives them a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a 10-bit color depth.
Both screens support HDR10 and use Adaptive-Sync technology for smooth images. Both models have a response time of 4ms GtG.
Ergonomics or not?
The U27B3AF offers additional ergonomic features with a height adjustable stand (HAS) up to 110 mm. According to AOC, both models feature LowBlue mode and Flicker-Free technology to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. We would like to stress here that no link between eye strain and blue light has been proven and therefore this claim is not very meaningful.
The U27B3A is aimed at users who do not need or want to sacrifice advanced ergonomic features. This monitor comes with a simple stand, making it more affordable.
The U27B3A and U27B3AF are the latest additions to AOC’s B3 series, which already includes several models with QHD and Full HD resolution in 24-inch and 27-inch sizes. The AOC U27B3A and U27B3AF monitors are available now for 249 euros and 259 euros respectively.
