Undercarriage, like this GIGABYTE AORUS C400 GLASS, remind us that design in its visual and aesthetic aspects is of fundamental importance to many users. And this is especially for those of us who experienced computing in the eighties and nineties, something very grateful, because at that time (on the other hand, so fascinating) beige boxes with a clone design, seen today with a certain perspective, one of the most boring things that can happen.

But let’s go back to the present, more specifically to the AORUS C400 GLASS mid-tower gaming chassis, which begins its commercial journey after awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2024an award that since 1955 has recognized the quality and innovation of designers and manufacturers in the creation of new home and professional products and that recognizes all aspects of design (aesthetic and functional).

Despite its compact dimensions of approx 40 litersthe optimization provided by its design allows for the mounting of high-end graphics cards (up to 360 mm long) and high-voltage power supplies (up to 160 mm long), as well as a 360 mm radiator on the top or bottom and 120mm cooler at the back and up to seven fans: three 120mm or two 140mm top and bottom and one 120mm rear.

AORUS C400 GLASS uses a Vertical bottom-up airflow design optimized on the principle of “mass effect”. In this way and using its natural properties, the hot air rises quickly and leaves the upper part of the chassis, which ensures a more efficient drainage. And this, added to its capacity to mount all the scattering elements mentioned in the previous paragraph, guarantees that we can use it for high-performance systems.

Ease of assembly and disassembly is another strong point of this chassis, which was designed with this type of operation in mind. All panels can thus be removed and replaced without the need for tools, which facilitates access to the interior from any location. The top panel has a removable bracket that makes it easy to install fans or radiators, and it is possible to pre-mount the fans or radiators on the bracket and then install the whole assembly on the top panel. In addition, the AORUS C400 GLASS also has removable dust filters on the front, top and bottom for easy maintenance.

As for the aesthetic component, as you have already seen in the picture, it has glass side panel (right)which allows you to see inside the PC and also has soft RGB LED lighting on the front, which is complemented by pre-installed ARGB fans allowing users to pair with other AORUS RGB devices.
