Researchers from Stanford University (USA) created the HumanPlus robot. According to engineers, he learned to play the piano, box and much more by observing people’s movements.

Developers said HumanPlus needs 40 hours of human movement data to learn a task and then repeat it step by step. At best, it can follow people with its camera and then replay the action in real time.

The humanoid robot was based on the Unitree H1 robot and the manipulator was provided by Inspire-Robots. But to create a working model, engineers spent approximately $107,945.

Anthropomorphic robots are now in fashion. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced that more than 1,000 Optimus humanoid robots will be working in the company’s factories next year.
