Chery has officially introduced its Amulet (Fengyun in China) T6 SUV in three trim levels: Air, Pro and Max, priced from $17,900 to $21,600. Fengyun (also known as Amulet, Fulwin and Windcloud) is Chery’s revitalized energy car brand launched last year.

The front featured a closed design combined with the Chery logo in the center and an LED strip connecting the headlights. The dimensions of the Chery Fengyun T6 are 4540x1865x1670 mm and the wheelbase is 2672 mm. The car received the popular hidden levers, was equipped with 18-inch (entry-level equipment) or 19-inch wheels.

The salon has a multifunction steering wheel, HUD projection screen, 10.25-inch instrument cluster and 14.8-inch vertical central control display with built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.

The entry-level Air comes standard with front side airbags, rear radar, cruise control, faux leather seats and a 6-speaker audio system. The Pro version had front and rear airbags, a front radar, an opening panoramic sunroof, heating and automatic folding of the exterior mirrors when locked, as well as electric adjustment of the driver’s seat. The Max version supports lane departure warning, active braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, multi-color ambient lighting, and a power liftgate.

Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-litre 115 kW engine and a 150 kW electric motor, with a total system output of 265 kW (355 hp) and a total torque of 530 Nm. Lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 18.32 kWh. BYD FinDreams provides a range of 120 km with electric traction. The range with a full tank and full refueling is 1,300 km. Fuel consumption is 4.9 liters per 100 km. It takes 19 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%.
