Scientists prove aliens are easy to detect by malfunctioning warp engines

A group of scientists from Germany and England proved the possibility of detecting alien ships due to malfunctions in warp engines, and the stronger the malfunctions, the better. A collision or unstable operation causes the warp bubble around the ship to collapse, creating specific gravity waves. The detection of such waves would clearly indicate their artificial origin and would be indisputable evidence of an advanced alien civilization.

Gravitational waves were detected on Earth for the first time on September 14, 2015. They are produced in the universe as a result of the merger of supermassive compact objects: black holes themselves, black holes and neutron stars, and neutron stars themselves. Waves occur when objects come together as they accelerate. The wavelengths and sizes of objects that can be detected this way depend on the size of the detectors (they currently have a shoulder of about 3 km). If the wavelength exceeds the length of the sensor, it does not leave a trace on it. Additionally, calculations show that modern detectors cannot pick up gravitational waves from a ship whose size is about a kilometer or less. Their engines will create a gravitational wave with a frequency higher than those recorded.

Warp engines, or spacetime-distorting engines – compressing it throughout the ship and expanding it towards the stern, reaching world-wide and higher speeds – are an undeniable fantasy. However, this fiction does not contradict Einstein’s general theory of relativity. Mexican theoretical physicist Miguel Alcubierre proved the theoretical possibility of implementing a warp engine for an interstellar ship using the OTO equation in 1994. The main drawback of Alcubierre’s calculations is the recognition of the need for negative energy/mass in the composition of the engine, which does not exist in modern physics. But recently scientists have theoretically proven the possibility of creating a warp engine within the framework of known physics.

The new study investigates the operation of this engine at constant sublight speed in off-state modes where the warp bubble around the ship could disappear. Scientists do not believe in the ability of aliens to ensure stable operation of the warp engine. Let him behave erratically even in the early stages of technology implementation. Under conditions of instability, the warp engine will begin to distort space-time with the formation of characteristic gravitational waves. Calculations show that artificial gravitational waves will differ from gravitational waves resulting from the coalescence of compact objects.

“Besides its highly speculative application to the search for extraterrestrial life from gravitational wave detector data, this work is interesting for the investigation of the dynamic evolution and stability of spacetime that violates the zero energy condition. Our work uses strange new techniques to (boldly) simulate things no one has seen before.” “It emphasizes the importance of exploring spatiotemporal domains.” – notifying the authors of the article that recently appeared on the preprint website arXiv.
