This Saturday, former President Donald Trump again attacked immigrants, calling them “violent” and proposed to create his own fighting league, similar to the famous UFC, which manages the mixed martial arts championship in the United States.

In front of a crowd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Republican said he proposed to his friend. Dana White, UFC President (Ultimate Fighting Championship, in English), create a competition dedicated to immigrants, through which he would make “a lot of money.”

“You are going to create a new fighting league consisting exclusively of migrants… and at the end of the year the migrant champion will fight your champion (the one from the UFC), and I hate to tell you, Dana, that I think the migrant will win. “They’re so tough,” Trump said of his idea, based on his rhetoric that the newly arrived foreigners are aggressive.

As at other rallies, he named the majority of migrants “drug dealers, gang members and murderers.”

The Republican has once again used several cases in which foreigners are accused as a political warhorse. He mentioned this week’s murder of Jocelyn Noongaray. 12 years old, in Houston, Texas, for which two Venezuelans who recently entered the country were arrested and charged.

“They crossed our border claiming they feared for their lives in Venezuela, but you know, crime in Venezuela has gone down… because they brought all the criminals (in the USA),” he suggested.

Trump also mentioned the arrest on Tuesday Ecuadorian accused of raping 13-year-old girl in New York and recent charges against a Salvadoran man for the rape and murder of Rachel Morin, a mother of five, which occurred in Maryland in August 2023.

As in 2016, Trump used newcomers as part of his strategy to advance his campaign by blaming them for the country’s biggest problems. But unlike his first campaign, immigration in 2024 is one of the most important issues voters will face.

Again, falsely accused them of stealing American jobs, especially Latinos and African Americans.

The former president confirmed his plans to applause. “begin the largest deportation operation in US history” and close the country’s southern border if he is re-elected.

Trump again criticized President Joe Biden, calling him corrupt and “the worst president in history.”

The predictable Republican candidate has focused his campaign on key states such as Pennsylvania, which in 2020, it lost just over one percentage point.

This was the second event Trump attended this Saturday; in the morning he gave a speech in Washington at a meeting of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, which It unites ultra-conservative Christians.
