Thales and Google Cloud have signed a partnership agreement to implement a global SOC platform that leverages AI and current threat intelligence.
French defense company Thales is working with Google Cloud to develop a global security operations center (SOC) platform, giving Thales customers access to advanced threat detection and incident response capabilities. The platform uses AI and up-to-date threat intelligence and is currently operational in France. It will be available to international organizations later this year.
The new SOC platform combines Thales’ expertise in incident detection and response with Google Cloud’s SecOps capabilities, including Google Security Operations, VirusTotal and Mandiant Threat Intelligence. The result of this collaboration is a globally integrated SOC platform that offers Thales customers enhanced capabilities. The platform includes:
- Uncompromising monitoring of systems: An open platform that extends the scope of monitoring through cost-effective data processing at the speed and scale of Google Cloud.
- Precise and reliable detection of cyber attacks: Advanced data analytics powered by Thales and Google threat intelligence services.
- Fast and efficient response to incidents: AI-based rapid impact assessment and reduced incident response time to ensure business continuity.
- Constant monitoring: 24/7 monitoring of IT systems and operational technology for immediate detection of security incidents.
