There is no doubt that this new 5G variant is quite similar to the Redmi 13C we know so far, even the front aesthetics of the waterdrop-shaped notch remain the same. Xiaomi decided giving us a slightly cleaner back with a neater designbut beyond that, everything is preserved, including the fingerprint sensor on the unlock button and the 3.5mm jack.
Where we find the most differences is in the ingredients. This device is equipped with a new MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor accompanied by up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage memory. A configuration that offers higher power than the 4G model This is greatly appreciated in an entry device that, in this case, also has 5G connectivity.
As for the rest of the technical specifications, the fact is that we have two practically identical terminals: we retain the MIUI 13 operating system based on Android 14, cameras remain exactly the same and they even share a USB-C connector, which is not always secure in such low-end smartphones.
As we said at the beginning of the article, the new Redmi 13C 5G is now available on the brand’s Global website, but still We don’t know when it will go on sale in Spain and at what price..
