For the first time in Ukraine, specialists in the specialty “Drone Operator” will be trained in one of the educational institutions in Lviv.
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv OVA, Ukrinform reported.
“This direction in the vocational education system is implemented for the first time in Ukraine! We believe that the “Drone Operator” profession will soon be introduced in many vocational training institutions in the country, “- said the OVA in the Department of Education and Science.
A pilot project of course training on drone management is being implemented on the basis of the Lviv Vocational School of Computer Technology and Construction. Training equipment was purchased under the auspices of the United Nations Peacebuilding and Reconstruction Program with the financial support of the European Union. The cost of purchased quadcopters is 232,320 hryvnia.
The district says operating drones is a popular occupation in the agriculture, forestry, ecology, construction, defense and media industries.
Their prospects are evidenced by the availability of vacancies and the amount of wages offered on job search sites. In particular, beginners without experience are offered from 15 thousand UAH, more experienced operators – from 20 thousand UAH.
