Android Auto not working for you? You’re not alone. Many users are reporting the same thing on Android Auto support forums and Reddit. Android Auto connection problems They are repeated with both wireless and wired connections and with different versions of the application.
Users affected by such errors cannot use Android Auto due to the system. not connecting wired or wireless and while it doesn’t seem like a universal solution, the bug affects both “older” versions and the latest Android Auto 12.2.
Android Auto has connection issues
Messages like “Android Auto has stopped working on my Pixel device since yesterday,” “worked once and then stopped,” “Android Auto won’t charge,” “lost connection to my car,” and similar messages fill Google support forums. It doesn’t happen to everyone, but it seems like it These bugs affect a large number of users.
The most mysterious aspect of the issue is that there does not seem to be a common element. Bug reports impact different phones with different Android versions and different Android Auto versionsHowever, there have been so many reports recently that it seems unlikely that this is a coincidence.
Seven of the last eight posts on the Android Auto forums are about Android Auto disconnects
Disconnect errors are the most common They happen on Android Auto and unfortunately often. So much so that Android Auto has had an assistant for years that will, among other things, check whether the USB cable you’re using is working properly. If Android Auto does not connect to the car, it is absolutely useless as it will no longer be available on the phone screen.
No one has found the key to solve these errors yet and as usual Google did not respond in the forums nor does it (yet) include these issues in its list of known bugs. A similar error has been happening there for a long time, “Wireless connection loss on Samsung phones”, but now it is happening on other brands as well.
If you are having this issue in Android Auto always try the usual solutions such as using a quality USB cable, testing the wireless connection, clearing the Android Auto app cache and data, or making sure you have the latest version of the app installed. If none of this works, you will have to wait patiently for Google to fix the bug in a future update.
