The Data Update Service in the Regional Community Register leaves piles of documents in the past because now everything can be done in a few clicks. Accurate information about the place of residence not only makes it possible to use Diya’s services, but is also necessary when applying for a job, a child in kindergarten, a driver’s license or admission to a university.

The service will be useful in the following cases:

• An error occurred when ordering a summary about the place of residence.
• Invalid place of residence, missing identification code or unique number in the registration in the residence statement.
• Surname changed.
• Even though you are registered in Diya, there is no place of residence in the passport.
• Incorrect entry date in passport in Diya.

When service is not available

Unfortunately, new opportunities do not yet exist in Odessa, Mykolaiv, and some communities living in temporarily occupied territories and war zones. Here is the full list:

• Kharkiv – Dvorichan, Vovchan communities.
• Zaporizhzhia – Vodyansk, Chkalovsk, Stepnohirsk communities.
• Khersonsk – Bekhtersk, Vynogradivsk, Myrnensk, Tavrychansk, Tavriysk communities.
• Donetsk — Vugledarsk, Kalchytsk, Mangushsk, Nikolsk communities.

Additionally, the service is not available for citizens with a registered place of residence on the territory of the ARC and certain districts, cities, towns and villages of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

How to get service?

• Click “Submit an application”, register or log in to the citizen’s account at diia.gov.ua using an electronic signature.
• Specify on whose behalf you want to update the data: yourself or your child.
• Check the accuracy of the data in the registry and specify what exactly needs to be updated.
• If your information is not in the records, please indicate your current or last declared residence.
• Sign the application with an electronic signature and wait for the result of the evaluation.

You must be at least 14 years old to benefit from the new features.
