Nic CMF Phone (1) is a affordable mid-range smartphone with which Nothing will expand the market through a sub-brand. It will launch in a few weeks, although we still don’t know if it will be international or if it will be limited to some specific countries. Thanks to the leak, we have new information.

At the design level, we have an aesthetic that is far removed from other Nothing terminals, and this is positive because it allows the company to differentiate the Nothing CMF (1) phone from the other products it sells under its main brand. As we can see in the cover image there is no trace of the Glyph LED lighting system, and the back has an intense orange color, which also departs from the more elegant and sober design of the other terminals that Nothing has released.

The space reserved for the cameras is oval in shape and Its two lenses are positioned vertically. In the middle part we have decorative elements in red and in the lower part you can see the differentiating details. The image also allows us to see the rough finish on the back.

This setup is modest but perfectly functional. The only really negative note, in my opinion, is the rear camerassince this smartphone comes with such a basic configuration that the secondary camera is a simple depth sensor, that means it doesn’t even have a wide angle.

This is a problem because other terminals surpass it at the hardware level and have a very interesting price. I could give many examples, but one of the most interesting is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13, which costs 182.95 euros and has a Snapdragon 695, a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a camera configuration with three rear cameras, main 108 MP, wide-angle 8 MP and macro 2 MP.

Price and release date

As I said at the beginning of the article, the Nothing CMF Phone (1) will hit the market in the coming weeks, although after this leak, the launch plans may be accelerated and it may arrive before the end of July.

As for the price, this smartphone will be available in two versions. The cheapest will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and will be priced at 180 euros per exchange. The version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity will have an approximate price 200 euros, also in exchange. Please note that these prices do not include taxes.
