GeForce Now brings important news this week. NVIDIA’s well-known cloud gaming service will be introduced three new games, and also received an important Update which is now available to all users of the said service in its Ultimate mode.
The GeForce Now update brings the dedicated app to version 2.0.64 and adds support for 10-bit color accuracy. This new feature improves picture quality when streaming games on Windows, macOS and NVIDIA Shield TV devices.
This improvement occurs because sa 10-bit color accuracy increases the richness and variety of color transitions used during streaming. This increased color saturation in the image improves its quality and is noticeable in many scenarios. This is especially useful on screens that do not support HDR technology.
To activate it, it is necessary to enter the settings of the GeForce Now application and follow the path «Streaming quality > Color accuracy». There we can use a 10-bit value. One of the games where this new feature is most noticeable is Cyberpunk 2077 thanks to its scenarios loaded with light effects in different colors. This update also fixes some minor bugs and errors.
Now let’s take a look at the list of new games coming to the service:
Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition and Resident Evil Village are undoubtedly the most notable news this week. We can also play on GeForce Now on Resident Evil Village demosomething very interesting and useful if we haven’t bought the game yet but are thinking about it.
This service too can be tried for free through the eponymous plan, which is monetized through small ads that we will only see in the queue while we wait for our gaming session to start on NVIDIA’s servers.
