The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration has shared new videos and images of the deployment of two cube satellites on April 18, 2024.

The images show how BurstCube and SNOOPI (Signals of Opportunity P-band Survey) were launched one by one into low Earth orbit.

First to launch was BurstCube, which is just under 10 centimeters in diameter and is designed to study gamma-ray bursts. And the SNOOPI instrument will demonstrate technology to measure root-zone soil moisture and snow water equivalent based on signals reflected from the Earth’s surface.
