The Leapmotor brand presented its latest innovation: a large 6-seater crossover Jump engine C16. Deliveries of the new product will begin in July (2,000 units in total) and bulk deliveries of more than 5,000 units per month will begin in August. The car is offered in six configurations with a price from 21.5 to 25.5 thousand dollars.

Jump engine C16 received two power plants: fully electric and hybrid. In the first case, the 800 V architecture is used; the car is charged to 50% (from 30% to 80%) in just 15 minutes. The range of the electric car is 520 km, the power is 292 horsepower. The electric car accelerates to 100 km / h. In 6.37 seconds.

The hybrid is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 95 hp. and an electric motor with a capacity of 231 hp. The pure electric range is approximately 200 km, the maximum range is 1095 km. The average fuel consumption of the hybrid is 5.4 l/100 km.

Jump engine C16 called family crossover. The dimensions of the car are 4915x1905x1770 mm, the wheelbase is 2825 mm. The car is equipped with 21-inch wheels, a digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 10.25 inches, a media system with a diagonal of 14.6 inches and a top-end SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 (not even in the new Toyota Highlander), a cruise control system. The top version has a 15.6-inch diagonal screen for rear passengers, a speaker system with 21 speakers, wireless charging for a smartphone, three-zone climate control.

Interestingly, for all its cheapness, the Leapmotor C16 received a powerful Nvidia Orion computing platform and 30 different sensors and sensors; theoretically, the car can boast of a third level of autonomy. So far, the set of driver assistance systems corresponds to level 2+.
