Motorola introduces the Moto G85 5G. The device is designed to stand out with bright colors, a leather cover and a flexible display.

Motorola is expanding its range of budget phones with the Moto G85 5G. The most striking feature of the device, according to the manufacturer, is the “Edge Screen”. For those who are less familiar with Motorola’s portfolio, this means that the screen has curved edges, like the Edge series devices.

This curved screen measures 6.7 inches and is labeled “Full HD.” Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the external display from drops and scratches.

The Moto G85 5G has two cameras on the back. The main camera has a 50 MP sensor on paper, which is Quad pixelThe technology focuses photos at 12.5 MP. If you want to get a little more out of your camera, there is an 8 MP wide-angle lens. For self-portraits, there is a 32 MP camera on the front.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon® 6s Gen 3 processor powers the device, supported by up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage (expandable up to 1 TB). Motorola refers to another RAM Boostfeature, although that’s more for show than it actually offers any practical value. Motorola says the device has a 5000mAh battery that can last up to 34 hours, but don’t let that tell you that the 30W charger falls into the “fast charger” category.

The Motorola Moto G85 5G will be available in Belgium from mid-July at a recommended retail price of 349.00 euros including VAT.
