The new Samsung Pay update will be available on all devices compatible with the service running Android 9 and above. While Samsung Pay already stores user cards and other similar information, the new update will add more functionality in the form of digital keys for their cars and smart locks that can be shared with friends, family or attendees.

Samsung Pay users will be able to lock and unlock the doors of any compatible car and even start the engine. In addition, the new program will allow users to view all their digital assets, such as cryptocurrency. Samsung plans to add support for Bithumb, Coinone, and Krobit.

Users will also be able to store Samsung Pay travel tickets. Tickets for Jeju Air, Jin Air and Korean Air and other airlines will appear in the future. In addition, the application can add movie tickets of companies such as Megabox, Lotte Cinema and Ticket Link. Users can check the security of all their digital assets through Samsung Knox.
