Generative AI has changed the world and has become a central pillar of the AI-driven revolution that began to take shape a few years ago. Thanks to this important advance today we can be more productive and creativeand we have a much easier time shaping projects that would have seemed impossible before.
This revolution, which we know as generative artificial intelligence, was made possible by the founding models of AI as well as by adversarial generative networks, identified as GANs for their acronym in English. These are defined as a class of artificial intelligence algorithms that are used in unsupervised learning and are implemented using a system of two neural networks.
These two neural networks are known as generator and discriminator. The two compete in a sort of zero-sum game where the generating network tries to produce realistic images while the discriminator tries to distinguish between what is real and what has been created. As these neural networks overcome the challenges that GANs present, they improve and manage to produce increasingly realistic samples.
GANs are fantastic for solving complicated tasks such as understand very complex data patterns and use them to produce high-quality results. They are used in such important applications as image synthesis, style transfer, data augmentation, and image-to-image translation.
NVIDAI GauGAN is an example of what can be achieved with this type of adversarial generative networks. This technology is capable of generating photorealistic images, and its implementation in NVIDIA Canvas has opened the way to a new way create content with a few strokes.
Today, this app is used by millions of professionals, including teachers, creative agencies and even museums Take advantage of AI acceleration which offer GeForce RTX 20 and higher graphics cards through their tensor cores. It is very easy to use and the results you can achieve are spectacular.
From something as simple as a few strokes to be a beach landscape, we can create a spectacular design with professional quality. The NVIDIA Canvas app is completely free and offers a mode called “Panorama” that allows this create 360-degree images and implement them in 3D applications as wellincluding graphics engines such as Unreal Engine 5.
