Jarviss, a cybersecurity company from East Flanders, is opening a branch in the Netherlands. The supplier wants to convince the Netherlands with automated security.
Belgian cybersecurity company Jarviss is taking its first steps across the border. Jarviss has become a solid player in the Belgian market and now wants to conquer the Netherlands. The new Dutch office will be led by Sander De Groot, who brings 22 years of experience at Juniper Networks.
Jarviss was founded in 2020 by Jo Vander Schueren. In a busy industry like cybersecurity, it is not easy to stand out from the big players as a small, local player. Jarviss tries to achieve this by comprehensively automating the entire managed XDR service, from incident analysis to remediation.
Jarviss installs a SOAR tool and then performs API integrations where necessary. This approach seems to be working, as the company now has more than 50 customers in Belgium and generates an annual turnover of more than ten million euros. The company has two Belgian offices in Lochristi and Westmalle.
International ambitions
The expansion into the Netherlands is a first step in Jarviss’ international ambitions. The company does not rule out stopping here, although it will initially focus on the Dutch market in the coming years before looking at other potential markets.
“We decided to launch in the Netherlands because of our knowledge of this market,” says Vander Schueren. “Before we launch in other countries, we want to make sure we find the right people. Thanks to Sander’s experience, we have this confidence in the Netherlands.”
