CMF by Nothing is a development and marketing sub-brand of the Carl Pei-founded company cheap products. We recently had the chance to see their first smartphone, the Nothing CMF Phone (1), and today we have new information about their next project, a smartwatch that features a truly innovative concept.

When we buy a smart watch, it has a certain design both on the dial and on the front where we find the screen and its bezels. CMF by Nothing wants to change that with its new smartwatch, a device that will allow us to do just that adjust the frames of the screen area with very easy-to-use accessories.

The image they shared on social media suggests that this accessory allows customization of the screen bezels they will be magnetized, which means they are very easy to install and remove. The smartwatch that CMF by Nothing will launch with this new design will be called Watch Pro and we also know that it will have a round face and that it will be made of aluminum, a light and durable material.

A few days ago, the company also showed some screen balls that we can use with this new smartwatch, although it has not yet given details about its configuration at the hardware level. Design Watch Pro 2 moves away from the rectangular format which we saw in the original model, so it can also opt for a more powerful configuration at the hardware level, which could result in an increase in the selling price.

Anyway, I don’t think CMF would beat Nothing the 100 dollar/euro threshold with this new smartwatch. Right now, the Watch Pro is available on sale for just 69 euros, so you can get an idea of ​​the position it occupies in the market and the devices it competes with. It is a very economical smart watch, but despite all that, it has an AMOLED screen, GPS and Android as an operating system.

Introducing the Watch Pro 2 will take place on July 8, the date when we can also expect the company’s new budget smartphone. When this presentation takes place, we will know all the details of this new smartwatch and we will have its complete specifications at the hardware level. The smartwatch market is becoming more and more competitive, and this is a positive thing, as it allows us to find more and more complete products at lower prices.
