Hydrogen hybrid Toyota Mirai the first generation did not become a bestseller in the Japanese company’s product line, but Toyota still decided to release a second-generation car. And here, too, it can be said, a failure: few people are interested in the latest Mirai in the United States, so Toyota took radical measures – dealers are selling the car at half price.

The Mirai in Limited configuration is priced at $67,115, and the car sells for $34,115. And this is a special initiative of dealers, not a discount approved by Toyota. The base XLE car sells for $25,000, but the asking price is $50,190.

But that’s not all. The full amount doesn’t have to be paid; the vehicle can be purchased in 72-month interest-free installments. The buyer will also receive an additional $15,000 for hydrogen fuel. Statistics show how bad the Mirai sales situation is. Only 245 hydrogen hybrids were sold in the US in June.
