Leuven-based Inmanta raises two million euros in investment to better market its automation and orchestration platform to network providers.
KU Leuven spin-off Inmanta has completed a capital increase of €2 million. The software company is developing a platform for telecom providers that automates the management of their networks. The financing is provided by KU Leuven, the Gemma Frisius Fund and the Flemish investment company PMV.
Intelligent network orchestration
Founded in 2016, Inmanta specializes in the fully automated orchestration of complex software and network infrastructures in telecommunications companies. The technology, developed by researchers at KU Leuven, enables telecommunications providers to deliver new services quickly and efficiently.
Inmanta’s solution uses advanced techniques to connect network components and build and deliver services. We spoke to Inmanta previously at MWC to discuss the flexibility the solution offers, for example for the rollout of private 5G.
Stefan Walraven, CEO: “Our Inmanta Service Orchestrator communicates with all network components and carries out the necessary configurations independently. This enables telecommunications providers to offer new services within minutes instead of weeks.”
Investments and market growth
With the new investment, Inmanta wants to accelerate its growth by investing more in marketing, sales and partnerships. According to Roald Borré of the Flemish investment company PMV, the market for network automation and orchestration software offers many opportunities. According to him, Inmanta’s solution is not only interesting for telecom companies, but also has potential in other industries.
