The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine received seven sets of special technical tools for emergency assistance to citizens in emergency situations abroad from Europe’s largest cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT.
Ukrinform reported that this situation was stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was stated that the kits were provided for the development of a memorandum and cooperation agreement between the Ministry and the cryptocurrency exchange, expanding the capabilities of the agency’s crisis response system.
“The equipment sets will accelerate the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in fulfilling its duties to protect the rights of citizens of Ukraine abroad. Here’s how it works: the consul came, installed the system, helped people, got up and went back. Every such suitcase is really a set of saviors, a kind of ambulance consular assistance,” he said.
The Minister believes that the Ukrainian diplomatic system can be the best quick-response diplomacy in the world, able to instantly solve problems and meet the urgent needs of Ukrainian citizens.
The State Department noted that “Emergency Suitcases” include a laptop with Internet access, a printer and other devices for processing critical documents. It is equipped with powerful batteries that allow long-term autonomous use.
It was stated that mobile consular teams of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can travel with such “rescue bags” to the emergency zone, crisis zone or small settlements / stay areas of Ukrainian citizens. consulates, to perform priority consular services, issuing travel documents to citizens of Ukraine, providing other emergency consular services and consular assistance, evacuation, etc.
The Ministry states that such mobile technologies are used by the USA, England, France, Poland, Baltic countries and other European countries as well as Ukraine.
This week, Volodymyr Nosov, co-owner and CEO of WhiteBit, handed over the equipment to the Ukrainian Consular Service in Poland. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that “suitcases” are currently being sent to the head office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kiev.
